ABOUT THE AUTHOR Dr. AIDA MAITA was born and raised in Zahle, Lebanon and finished her undergraduate studies in Beirut where she obtained her Bachelor's Degree in Law, from the Lebanese University. She now resides in Sacramento, California where she obtained a Master of Law (L.L.M) in Transnational Business practice from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law, while participating in summer programs in Salzburg, Austria. Finally Dr. AIDA MAITA obtained her S.J.D. (Doctor of Juridical Science) in International Legal Studies from Golden Gate University in San Francisco, California. Her areas of research interest include: Public International Law, International Economic Law, and Comparative Legal Studies. Other interests include foreign politics, writing, foreign languages and travel.
